Positions Available:
ACUPUNCTURE PHYSICIAN
SKILLS AND TRAINING: Employee must be a Licensed Acupuncture Physician in the State of Florida and agrees to maintain current licensure while employed at the clinic. Acupuncture Physician must have comprehensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis, and be able to administer needle and non-needle techniques of meridian stimulation to improve or resolve these diagnoses. Clinical notes (currently electronic) are required for all acupuncture patients. Other needed skills are legible handwriting, filing, basic computer skills and familiarization with the current scheduling and clinical note software. A professional demeanor and attitude will be expected while working and interacting with patients and co-workers.
ATTIRE:
As detailed in the clinic manual: Neat, professional attire: skirts (or dress slacks) and blouses, or dresses, for women; slacks, shirts, and ties for men. A white clinic jacket should also be worn. Alternatively, acupuncture physicians may wear solid color scrubs (navy blue preferred).
HOURS
To be determined by by mutual agreement based on Clinic needs and employee availability.
COMPENSATION:
Hourly plus Per-patient rate; goal structure for whole office.
Observe and conform to all the applicable laws, professional standards and customs of the Acupuncture profession. Be available to render acupuncture services during scheduled office hours within 30 minutes of start of appointment time. Occasionally be available for providing free acupuncture consultations and demonstrations at marketing events. 2. MASSAGE THERAPIST:
Duties:
Providing deep-tissue, myofascial, and/or neuromuscular massage therapy to clients of Whole Health Clinic. Includes following chiropractor/acupuncturists' care plans and instructions, as well as treating massage-only clients using your professional knowledge and discretion. Sessions are scheduled in one-hour and half-hour intervals.
Requirements:
Massage Therapist license in the State of Florida. Outstanding therapeutic massage skills. Consistent, reliable availability for agreed-upon shifts.
Compensation:
Per massage.
Benefits:
Therapists working more than 25 hours weekly are eligible to purchase health and dental insurance; retirement matching fund; performance bonus structure.
