Chiropractic in Today's Health Care
For many years, chiropractic was misunderstood due to widespread, and often, deliberate misinformation. While negative attitudes take time to die out, nowadays chiropractic is widely recognized and scientifically established as a safe and effective means of caring for your health.
Whole Health Chiropractic Clinic's patients include doctors and nurses. Dr. Dwyer often receives referrals from medical doctors, and always refers patients to other health care providers when faced with problems chiropractic care cannot solve.
Drug-Free Treatment
Chiropractors have never used drugs. The treatment is to solve structural problems
that keep the body from healing itself. Drugs should be avoided whenever a drug-free
alternative is available.
Accurate Diagnosis
Besides on-premises X-ray equipment, utilizing modern all-digital X-ray technology
and collimation for low-dose, high-resolution images, the full range of laboratory,
MRI, and CT is available to you chiropractor. You may be sure that if anything
about your care suggest a serious cause of your symptoms, the appropriate tests
and images will be obtained to set your mind at ease and a report will be sent to your primary physician at your request.
Starting on Your
Road to Health through Chiropractic
One of our friendly and helpful assistants will help you make a convenient appointment
by phone at (850)877-8980. We almost always have appointments available within
a few days of your call... often the same day!
After an initial interview to determine what problems you are having, and a thorough inquiry into the prior state of your health, Dr. Dwyer will perform a thorough evaluation of your spine and all areas relevant to your condition. If indicated, lab test and X-rays may be performed. If it is determined that we can help you, you will be treated for the first time of your second visit, although occasionally, patients with disabling pain may be treated immediately following the exam.
